Information Is Beautiful (too)

As a visual person, I love to see how people around me are becoming more visually sophisticated and how this seems to be a major trend in today’s society. I stumbled upon this site recently and it absolutely blew my mind. The site is called Information is Beautiful and their blog is simply filled with great information as well as visual stimulation. Coincidentally, I purchased a book awhile ago with the same title and it’s become a habit of mine to constantly refer to it when I’m in desperate need of inspiration for project that require me to communicate complex information to company stakeholders. It seems the world has become tired of consuming data in black and white and like to take in their information with a splash of colour, concept and design these days. It’s all about engagement, fascination and looking at things in a new light.
