What does it take to get to the very top in advertising? Let alone to stay there for over thirty years? Well on September 5th we were fortunate enough to find out from an industry icon who’s been there, done that, and come back for more. John Hegarty’s achievements as an art director, creative director and agency owner are too many and too familiar to be listed here. The cupboards full of D&AD pencils, IPA Effectiveness awards and Agency of the Year accolades they say all that needs to be said about the quality and consistency of his extraordinary body of work. And they’re proof of his belief in the value of creativity and the importance of protecting it.
