D&AD President’s Lectures – PechaKucha: Japan (London Graphic Designers Meetup)

Just over a year after the tsunami sent shockwaves through a country and around the world. This collection of design and communication allowed creatives to share stories about Japan, and tell us how this country had influenced their projects and work. The format was interesting, unusual and engaging… Each speaker had 20 slides, and each slide lasted 20 seconds. It was all over 6 minutes, 40 seconds! The ultimate presentation level playing field. Some of the speakers included; Andy Altmann (Why Not Associates), Fred Deakin (ex-Airside), Kathryn Findlay (Ushida Findlay) and Ryohei Kawanishi – (Fashion Designer)… all from hugely successful agencies.
