Serial Cut – Perplex City

It’s no wonder Serial Cut are attracting the attention of global brands such as Nike, Sony, Playstation and Diesel (the impressive list goes on). Here is another of their wonderful and ingenious construction of typography. I love the playful use of black and white. This was part of a project for a card of a board game called Perplex City, where designers were invited to participate in the design with a concrete theme. The name of this was “Portmanteau”, which means the word that results from blending two existing words into a new one. Would have loved to have been there when constructing this.
